Sammy Horowitz, also known as “The Russian Concussion”, has a strong connection to his Jewish faith and proudly represents it, as well as the Jewish people, every time he steps into the ring. Sammy originally started his fighting career in Mixed-Martial Arts, competing in 6 fights in the midwest and as far as California, he decided that boxing was a much better fit and decided to train and dedicate himself full time to his craft, compiling 18 amateur fights and training with his teammates Donovan George and Mike Jimenez. He brings a come-forward style with power punches and grit, and loves to go to war.
Outside of his boxing career, Sammy is also a SAG-AFTRA Stuntman and Performer in television and film, working on programs such as Chicago P.D. and Empire.
See Sammy on November 29 when he participates in “Fight Night at Horseshoe Hammond.”
